The most amazing thing about this case is that her boss's husband (the person who dropped her while dancing), we learned afterward, had done the same thing to someone else previously when dancing in this style. This wasn't the first time that this same guy did this to someone! Also--on a more serious note--my niece, Lacey has had a very hard time medically and financially due to this incident. This isn't a frivolous lawsuit--she was seriously injured and so has had a long, pretty arduous recovery process. It sounds like a WILD story but she is genuinely just trying to recoup some serious medical and other expenses this has cost her at AGE 22. She had just moved from California to Chicago a few months before this happened.
